About St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Parish
St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Parish in Red Deer is a Byzantine Catholic community founded in 1984 to serve the Ukrainian Catholic faithful in central Alberta. Its history grew from Eparchy property purchases and family outreach into a permanent parish church, where the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated in 1990.
The parish is rooted in faith, Ukrainian tradition, liturgy, service, and community life. Parish activities highlighted by its own site include Divine Liturgies, parish events, Knights of Columbus, UCWLC, Ridna Shkola, and parish news.
