About St. Vladimir the Great Ukrainian Catholic Parish

St. Vladimir the Great Ukrainian Catholic Parish is the Edmonton Eparchy's Calder parish, serving a community with more than a century of local church history. The Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy purchased the former St. Edmund Roman Catholic church and hall in 1950, preserving the exterior while adapting the interior for Ukrainian Catholic worship with an iconostasis and Byzantine-Rite iconography.

The parish continues at 12726 - 119 Street with bilingual Sunday Divine Liturgy and community activity through its Facebook group. Its story blends historic Calder roots with active Ukrainian Catholic worship today.
