St. John the Evangelist Parish at Fidelity is a rural Ukrainian Catholic parish east of Edmonton and near Myrnam. The parish began with services in Bloomington school, acquired land for its church and cemetery in 1937, and completed a church between 1948 and 1953 under Fr. Ivan Cherkavsky.
Its history records settlers from the Ternopil, Buchach, Peremyshl, and Sniatyn regions of Ukraine, along with parish council leadership, UCWLC and UCYC life, bishop visits, and eparchial clergy service.
