About Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Radway is a historic rural Ukrainian Catholic parish northeast of Edmonton. Its beginnings go back to 1910, when land was donated for the church and cemetery, and the church was completed in 1914 south of Radway.

The parish history records Bishop Basil Ladyka's 1932 consecration of the church, a parish hall built in the 1950s, Basilian ministry, Eparchial clergy, and active lay organizations in earlier generations.
