Annual Pilgrimage to Saints Peter and Paul Parish, Mundare

The annual pilgrimage to Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Mundare takes place over two days.

Saturday, June 27 begins with Vespers with Lytia at the Pioneer Chapel at 5:00 p.m., followed by food and refreshments at the Basilian Fathers Museum.

Sunday, June 28 includes Divine Liturgy and Confessions in the church at 8:00 a.m., the Basilian Fathers Museum opening at 8:30 a.m., blessing of the water at 9:15 a.m., and Solemn Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. Following the Solemn Divine Liturgy, prayers for the intentions of the Holy Father will be offered with the granting of a Plenary Indulgence. Religious items will be blessed in the Museum from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

After the Divine Liturgy, lunch will be served at the Mundare Recreation Centre. Tickets are $40 per plate and can be purchased by e-transfer to jjmayko@yahoo.ca or by cheque made payable to John and Pat Mayko, Box 325, Mundare, AB, T0B 3H0.
